Xenia Ostrovskaya

Xenia Ostrovskaya, born in 1989, is a visual artist from Saint-Petersburg. She studied ceramics and porcelain painting at Saint Petersburg State University. In 2015, she followed this with studies at the University of Applied Arts, in the class of graphic and printmaking under the direction of Professor Jan Svenungsson.

Ostrovskaya’s artistic work relates to communication and interaction as well as an engagement with the past. The analogue collages are created on old postcards and city views. The artist lives and works in Vienna.
